Effects of temperature and day-length for growth and floweing on Melasphaerula ramosa, Iridaceae


It was studied about the effects of temperature and day-length for gworth and flowering on Melasphaerula ramosa, Iridaceae.
Corms were in dormancy in about June, when they were lifted. And the dormancies were broken on early in August. It was suggested thet, for breaking dormancy, it was needed encountering with about 30Ž conditions during fixed period.
Formation of inflorescence started since mid or late November. Formation ond development of inflorescence were urged by condition of long-day-length.
